Tidy Towns Newsletter | July 2026

Ballyboughal Tidy Towns is delighted to share their July 2026 Newsletter, highlighting the people, projects and community effort helping to make Ballyboughal a cleaner, greener and more biodiverse place to live. In this edition, you can meet some of the volunteers who give their time to the group, discover the many projects underway throughout the village, and learn more about our Biodiversity Action Plan and the work being done to support wildlife and nature in Ballyboughal.

From planting and maintaining flower beds and biodiversity-friendly planters to litter picking, recycling initiatives, bird boxes, the new polytunnel and improvements around the river and Nature Park, there is a huge amount happening across the village.The newsletter also features a volunteer's personal experience of getting involved with Ballyboughal Tidy Towns, as well as information about the Ballyboughal National School Sensory Garden, the Sli na Sceacha nature trail and the Ballyboughal Biodiversity Action Plan.
