Adventure, Friendship & Skills for Life

Information

Ballyboughal Scouts is a vibrant, youth-led group at the heart of our community, offering fun, outdoor adventure, and personal development for children and teens. As part of Scouting Ireland, our local troop helps young people grow in confidence, teamwork, and independence — all while having a blast in nature.

Our troop is proudly based in Ballyboughal, with regular meetings held at the Community Hub Centre. We also join events with neighbouring groups, giving young members a chance to make friends beyond the village.

We're part of the wider Scouting Ireland network, meaning access to national training, leader support, and incredible outdoor opportunities.
