A Warm Welcome to Minister Michael Healy-Rae, T.D. in Ballyboughal

We were delighted to welcome Minister Michael Healy-Rae, T.D. all the way from Kerry to the Ballyboughal Community Hub last week. It was a pleasure to share a cuppa and a chat with him, and to give him a sense of the strong community spirit that defines our village.

During his visit, Minister Healy-Rae also took time to stop by a few of our fantastic local businesses, showing a genuine interest in the people and enterprises that keep Ballyboughal thriving. A special thank you to the following for their warm hospitality and engagement:

Keogh's Farm

Fingal Farm Home and Garden

Fingal Fencing

David, John & Richie Rodgers, local growers

His visit was not only a show of support for rural communities like ours but also a great opportunity to highlight the hard work being done at grassroots level in North County Dublin.

We also wish to extend our thanks to Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee for her continued support and for helping make this visit possible.

It's moments like these that remind us how important connection and collaboration are — across counties, communities, and sectors — in building a vibrant future for places like Ballyboughal.
