Pop over to Howth to Get ready for a splash of excitement at this year’s festival as Howth Sea Angling Club reels you in with activities for all ages.

🌊 Sea Life Display – See crabs, lobsters, and other fascinating local sea creatures up close in our giant aquariums. All caught by our members in the days before the event, cared for in aerated tanks, and safely returned to the sea afterwards.

🎨 Children’s Face Painting – Let your little ones transform into sea creatures, pirates, or mermaids! Our professional face painter will be outside the clubhouse (15A West Pier) or inside if the weather turns.

🪝 Sea Angling Exhibition – Step upstairs to explore a treasure trove of fishing tackle, gear, and photographs from years of shore and boat angling adventures. Our members will be there to share stories and answer your questions.

🎤 Guest Speaker Talks – Hear from an expert—possibly a former Irish sea angling champion—on topics like Ireland’s fishing heritage, protecting fish stocks, and the art of catch-and-release.
